Her father-in-law, John Dufour, Jr. ‘77 is one of this year’s honorees. Tickets can be purchased online.
Teresa has been working in the news and entertainment industry for nearly 24 years. She started off behind the camera and worked her way up from the assignment desk to the news desk to host.

Teresa got her break into television when she was offered a job in Monroe, Louisiana. She moved to the Pelican State to become a reporter and anchor for KTVE and KARD. She became the quintessential Louisiana anchor, enjoying the culture and lifestyle while developing her skills as a professional journalist. She felt her deepest connection to the community while reporting on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2006, Teresa was thrilled to return to her home state as the Morning Traffic Anchor at WFSB Channel 3. In 2010, Teresa became the Host of CT Style on WTNH Channel 8. For more than a decade, Teresa welcomed guests onto the white couch, where she helped restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, artists and not for profits tell their stories.
In 2021, Teresa started Teresa Dufour Media to adapt with the changing landscape of how people get their information. You can catch Teresa weekly hosting “Live Work Play” segments for Connecticut’s Fox affiliate.
A native of Middlebury, Teresa is very proud of her close-knit family, who all live in the Greater Waterbury area. On New Year’s Eve of 2013, Teresa said yes to her husband, the charming, Brandon Dufour. Teresa and Brandon are proud parents to their son Dante and daughter Angelina. @teresadu4
