Letter from the President

My personal hope and expectation for all students who attend Holy Cross is that they will be challenged to demonstrate their best efforts and will strive to meet that challenge. It is my sincere hope that they all conduct themselves in such a way that they are a credit to Holy Cross, their families, and most importantly themselves.

Our mutual goals will be met through the curriculum. This formal course of study will both challenge and prepare students not only for college admission but also for life beyond Holy Cross. Aside from 99% of our students going on to formal higher studies, there is the ever-present opportunity for students to discover their uniqueness by a process of exploration and growth. An education in the Holy Cross tradition affords students the opportunity to discover and define not only themselves, but their positions on various social issues and the appropriateness of their actions and attitudes in that regard.

Holy Cross offers a safe and caring environment that will challenge you, hold you accountable and will call you to a clear sense of responsibility. You will have outstanding opportunities for academic and personal growth. You will grow in an atmosphere of true Christian values. You will receive an education in the finest Holy Cross tradition, one that "seeks not only the development of the mind but that of the heart as well."

The collaborative efforts of you, your family, the administration, faculty and staff will insure that when you graduate from Holy Cross, you will be ready to go on to the next step.
