Admissions Process

Holy Cross High School seeks to educate young men and women in the Christian tradition. Students interested in advancing their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social development are encouraged to explore the Holy Cross community.

Admission to 9th grade is based on past achievement, recommendations and the STS High School Placement Test. Students from Catholic and Public schools across the region receive equal consideration. Transfer Student should refer to the Transfer Students page of this website for the information related to the Admission process.

Admission to Holy Cross is a three step process:

  • Take the Entrance Exam - Saturday, November 3, 2007
    8:30am-12pm (No pre-registration required) Exam Fee $20
Holy Cross administers the STS High School Placement Test which lasts approximately 3-3 ½ hours.
  • Complete the admission application (Provided to students on the day of the entrance exam) Deadline: December 1, 2007
  • Submit grammar/middle school transcripts and recommendations

Note: For those students unable to take the November Entrance Exam, there is a Late Exam administered December 8, 2007. We highly encourage students to attend the first exam day. Any student that is unable to take the placement test one of those two days should contact the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.
