Crusaders Honor One of Their Own at Chris Corbett '93 5K


The Greater Waterbury community gathered together on Sunday, April 2, 2017 to honor Deputy Chief Christopher D. Corbett '93 of the Waterbury Police Department (WPD) at the 2nd Annual Chris Corbett 5K. The run was hosted at Holy Cross High School, Chris's alma mater. Several local private schools, friends and community members turned out to remember a truly wonderful man. (Read More)

Apply for the Christopher D. Corbett Memorial Scholarship Fund Today!

The Christopher D. Corbett Memorial Scholarship Fund application is available to incoming 9th graders as well as our current 9th-11th graders.  Please fill out the application and return to Guidance before May 18th. Please note there is a letter of recommendation required.  This letter must be written by a member of your school faculty or your Parish Priest/Deacon.


Celebrating Crusaders: Rafael Ozdemirer '97: Getting People Back to Their Sport


Rafael Ozdemirer '97 spent some time figuring out which profession he wanted to pursue. Originally, he wanted to be a police officer, but decided that wasn't for him. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his prelaw degree at the University of Maine. He had every intention of pursuing Environmental Law. He worked in a law firm for 2 ½ years to see if this was something he really wanted to do. He realized that it wasn't. (Read More)

A fun 36-hour online giving event, Give Local unites donors, businesses and organizations in giving back to the communities where we live, work and play. We hope you will remember Holy Cross High School as you map out your philanthropic priorities on this inspiring day.


 Psychology Students Create Children's Books



Students in William Peter's Psychology Honors and CP-A classes recently completed a project that brought out their creative side. While studying Developmental Psychology, they were each asked to write and illustrate a children's book that fit some imperative criteria. (Read More)


Student Theatre Preps Spring Musical


The Holy Cross Student Theatre (HCST) is proud to announce the musical classic, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, as its spring production for the 2016-2017 school year. Performances run at Holy Cross High School (HCHS) in Waterbury on April 28th & 29th at 7:00pm and April 30th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased at the door or by calling HCHS at 203.757.9248. Seniors will be admitted free for the Sunday, April 30th matinee only.  (Read More)
