There's Still Time to Support Holy Cross High School's Annual Fund

We proudly report that we have exceeded our targeted Annual Fund goal with donations and pledges. This allows us to potentially earn a $100,000 match. Every gift made between now and June 30th will be matched dollar for dollar, thanks to an anonymous donor.

The cost of educating a student is not fully covered by tuition. The difference is made up by the Annual Fund which fuels Academic & Athletic programs, equipment, technology and other annual expenses.
Please click here if you would like to support Holy Cross High School's Annual Fund. Every dollar counts. Every gift matters. We thank you, in advance, for your consideration. Questions? Please contact Donna Marino, Director of the Annual Fund, at 203.574.5422 ext. 223 or at

Boys' Baseball & Girls' Softball to Compete in State Semi-Finals

The Boys' Varsity Baseball Team, NVL Champs (24-2), will play against Notre Dame of Fairfield (18-7) Tuesday, June 5th at Muzzy Field in Bristol at 3:30pm in the Class S semifinals. "We played well from the beginning of the season and I don't think there was a defining moment that kind of sparked us," said Coach Mike Phelan '89 to the Waterbury Republican American. "We're playing well and with a lot of confidence. A lot of the guys have been in the fire before and in big games. I don't think the moment will get them too concerned."

The Girls' Varsity Softball Team has also had a great season. This past weekend, they won the Class S quarterfinal against NVL rival St. Paul. They will play in the Class S semifinals against Coventry on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00pm at DeLuca Field in Stratford. "Every day, we talking about it being a seven-inning game and it doesn't matter who steps up," said Coach Meg Dwyer '05. "We put a couple of things together and a lot of people stepped up."
