Prepping for Holy Cross


We are so excited for you to join us in August for your first days as a member of the Class of 2021. Here are a few helpful items to make your entrance into Holy Cross a smooth one.


  • Download the Freshmen Summer Reading list and Book List here.
  • Be on the lookout in the mail for some important forms. They need to be filled out, signed and returned to Holy Cross. Forms can also be downloaded here
  • Register for the Freshmen Picnic to be held on Sunday, August 20th at 2:00pm. Meet your fellow classmates and parents and register for fall sports!!
  • SAVE THE DATE for our annual Grandparents Breakfast on September 16th. To ensure that all grandparents are invited, please fill out this brief form.  

Dress Code & Dennis Uniforms


Holy Cross High School's dress code is designed to reinforce neatness, professionalism, responsibility and is a reflection of the importance of academic endeavors and school tradition. It is our belief that our dress code will allow for a successful educational environment and will prepare students for future life experiences.


Please familiarize yourself with the current school dress code here.

Michael Perkins '18 & Meghan Booth '18 Take Home HALO Awards


Holy Cross Student Theatre (HCST) performers, Michael Perkins '18 and Meghan Booth '18, were recognized for their work in the fall production of The Elephant Man by Seven Angels Theatre with HALO Awards for Best Leading Actor & Actress in a Contemporary Play.

The HALO Awards, presented by Seven Angels Theatre, celebrate and honor the theatrical achievements of Connecticut high school students in the areas of acting, dance, directing, stage management and technical theatre. Over 100 schools were represented in the two-day ceremony which took place at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury. (Read More)


Graduation 2017



Holy Cross High School celebrated its 46th Commencement Exercises on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Diplomas and special awards were distributed to the Class of 2017. Heartfelt speeches and parting words were shared by Board members, administrators, students and special guests. 


"Take a moment to visualize all that you have achieved and appreciate how far you have come," said Board President, Jeffrey Fryer '87. "In the end, it's not just about your class rank. It's not about the grades you earned. It's about everything you've experienced in your four years here as a Crusader." (Read More)

Vincent Packer '18 Studies with the Boston University Tanglewood Institute


Vincent Packer '18, a student-musician, spent the early part of his summer break studying at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) in Lenox Massachusetts. He was one of a dozen clarinet students nationwide to be accepted into this highly competitive program. (Read More)
