Peer Ministers Commissioned at Holy Cross's First Friday Liturgy


The Holy Cross High School community gathered together for the First Friday Liturgy of the 2017-2018 school year led by special guest, Father Joseph I. Khoueiry from Our Lady of Lebanon in Waterbury, CT.

The first liturgy of the school year is always a special one because it is also the Commissioning Ceremony of the Peer Ministers. These senior students serve under the auspice of the Campus Ministry Program. They lead several community service initiatives including retreats, prayer services and student activities. (Read More)


Crusader Fall Athletic Season Off to a Great Start

Wen Ting Zheng '18 Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist


The National Merit Scholarship Corporation officially announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 63rd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Wen Ting Zheng '18 was among the students announced for this program. The semifinalists can continue in this competition for 7500 National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $32 million. These will be offered next spring.


"I was so excited when I heard," said Wen Ting. "I am honored that I had the opportunity to apply for this scholarship." (Read More)


Inductees Announced for Holy Cross High School's 2017 Hall of Honor



Holy Cross High School will induct nine of its' most beloved school members into the Crusader Hall of Honor on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at La Bella Vista at 6:00p.m. Alumni, teachers, administrators and friends are recognized in this prestigious group for their achievements and contributions to Holy Cross and/or their local communities.

Holy Cross High School Community Raises Money for Hurricane Victims


The Holy Cross school community raised approximately $900.00 to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey through the recent "Hats for Harvey" initiative. Students and faculty dressed down and wore their Holy Cross spirit shirts and a hat for a $5.00 donation. Monies raised were sent through Catholic Heart Workcamp (CHWC) to help St. Ignatius of Loyola in Spring, Texas.

"Our Crusader family always wants to help others in need," said Meg Dwyer '05, Director of Student Activities. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Harvey as well as Hurricane Irma. We wanted to do something for the victims during this difficult time." (Read More)
