Twenty-One Professionals Participate in Career Exploration Day

Twenty-one professionals from a variety of disciplines visited Holy Cross High School for Career Exploration Days. They were on hand to speak to the students about their career trajectories and to give advice to those interested in pursuing similar fields. Make a Difference and Give Local on April 24th & 25th 


In less than 24 hours, Holy Cross High school will participate in Give Local – Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills. Every dollar raised from 7:00am on Tuesday, April 24th to 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 25th will be stretched further by bonus funds and prizes donated by Connecticut Community Foundation and its' generous sponsors. In 2017, the bonus percentage was 12%, meaning that a $100 gift transformed into $112! In addition, monies raised throughout the day will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000, thanks to generous members of the Holy Cross community. Please make a gift on April 24-25 and remember what Holy Cross meant to you, your child or your family. All gifts can be made by clicking here.

An Art/Fashion Club Update from Mrs. Rosanne Shea, Faculty Advisor



The co-presidents of the Art/Fashion Club have led the club through a very active and busy year thus far in terms of club participation. Some highlights included a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Times Square in New York, two open mic/coffeehouses and appearances at other school events such as Halloween Happening and Founders Week activities. The Holy Cross Student Theatre (HCST) will present the musical classic, West Side Story, as its spring production for the 2017-2018 school year. This iconic piece of theater features a book by Arthur Laurents, score by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Performances run at Holy Cross High School (HCHS) on May 4th and 5th at 7:00pm and May 6th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased at the door or online at Seniors will be admitted free for the Sunday, May 6th matinee only. (Read More)
