The Holy Cross Student Theatre (HCST) is proud to announce the musical classic, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, as its spring production for the 2016-2017 school year. Performances run at Holy Cross High School (HCHS) in Waterbury on April 28th & 29th at 7:00pm and April 30th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased at the door or by calling HCHS at 203.757.9248. Seniors will be admitted free for the Sunday, April 30th matinee only. The production is under the direction of David Gardino with musical direction by David Irvine and choreography by Loraine Crane. Paul Whealon is Assistant Director. James Accuosti, Lori Conetta and Ann Estrada serve as faculty representatives.
Joseph, a completely sung-through musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, tells the story of Joseph (Nick Pietrorazio '19) from the Bible's Book of Genesis. Several styles of music are infused into the score including rock n' roll, country western and calypso. Many Broadway standards came out of this show including "Any Dream Will Do", "Close Every Door" and "Go Go Go Joseph."

As an added bonus, the school's annual Arts-on-Oronoke exhibit, featuring the art work of Holy Cross students and alumni, will be held during the April 30th performance from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the school in the Alix Family Gallery. Refreshments will be served.
