In each session, participants will experience the Holy Cross High School atmosphere of support, encouragement and hard work.

2019 Session Descriptions

Musical Theater Experience
7/8-7/19, 8:30am-12:00pm (Grades 6-9)
Cost: $375.00 (for two weeks)

Love to sing, dance, or act?! Want to learn about lighting/sound/costuming? This summer, come join in the fun, bring a friend or two, make new friends, and create musical memories as we present the Broadway Jr. version of Disney’s “HighSchool Musical”! This is the place to be from 8:30am-12:00pm for two weeks in July as we rehearse and develop our version of this hit musical. It all ends with a performance of the show on the morning of July 19th, the final day of the session!

Italian Immersion
7/22-7/26 & 7/29-8/2, 8:30am-12:00pm (Grades 6-9)
Cost: $225.00 (for one week)

All aboard, amici belli, as we fly away to one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. Welcome to Italy, the land of divine art, ancient culture, and earthly pleasures! Our five day class trip will take us to five of the loveliest Italian destinations where we will learn about customs, traditions, language, history and everything and anything Italian! We will be artists, chefs, sculptors, aficionados and everything in between! We will master this thing called Italian culture! Please join us for this five day extravaganza! Introduction to Robotics
7/22-7/26 & 7/29-8/2, 8:30am-12:00pm (Grades 6-9)
Cost: $225.00 (for one week)

In this hands-on session, students will work collaboratively to construct, program, and operate robots using the Vex EDR platform. Students will compete in both driver controlled events and autonomous (programmed) events. Participants will use and improve their math, problem-solving, programming, and teamwork skills.

"Measuring the Immeasurable"
7/22-7/26 & 7/29-8/2, 8:30am-12:00pm (Grades 6-9)
Cost: $225.00 (for one week)

How do Civil Engineers design bridges? How do they determine the distance needed to cross rivers, lakes or canyons? How do they determine the amount of materials required? Campers will explore answers and methods to these types of questions in a discovery and cooperative way!Campers will be enriched in basics of the proportions, ratios and similar figures in order to "Measure the Immeasurable."

Athletic Sessions
Cost: $110.00 (except Girls Basketball, ages 5-8 - Cost: $75.00)
The Holy Cross Athletics Coaching Staff offers the fundamentals and skills needed be successful on and off the playing surface. No experience necessary!

  • Girls’ Basketball (ages 8-15) - 6/25-6/28* from 9:00am-12:00pm; 7/8-7/11** from 9:00am-11:30am) *focus on team skills **focus on individual skills
  • Girls’ Basketball (ages 5-8) - 7/8-7/11 from 12:00-2:00pm)
  • Boys’ Basketball (ages 8-15) - 6/25-6/28 from 12:30pm-3:00pm)
  • Baseball (ages 8-15) - 7/8-7/11 from 12:30-3:00pm
  • Girls’ Volleyball (ages 8-15) - 8/12-8/15 from 9:00am-12:00pm)
  • Softball (ages 8-15) - 8/12-8/15 from 12:30pm-3:30pm

Registration is due by March 31, 2019. After the 31st, a $10.00 late fee will be applied per registration. Registration prices include a camp t-shirt. Basketball camp participants' will also receive a Holy Cross basketball.

Family Discount: If you have multiple children who want to attend any of the summer sessions, once you pay full price for the first child per camp, you will get $25.00 off every camp for additional children before March 31, 2019. After March 31st, you will receive a $10.00 discount per sibling.

MultiCamp Discount: If your student attends more than one camp, you will get $25.00 off every camp after the first full registration. After March 31st, you will receive a $10.00 discount per camp.

*Total discounts cannot exceed $100.00, and discounts cannot be combined.
