Holy Cross students donate countless hours of service to members of local and extended communities. Service projects take place throughout the year, even when school isn't in session. Many take place concurrently with others.
However, there is one major difference that separates Holy Cross from many other schools. Our students donate their time because they want to do it; not because they have to do it.
Several on-campus groups including National Honor Society, Peer Ministry, Student Council, Student Life Board, Athletic Council, Crusade for a Cure and Student Activities have raised money and awareness for a variety of causes. The Holy Cross community has donated toys, clothing, and food to various organizations in the Greater Waterbury area including Apple Rehab, Children's Community School, St. Vincent DePaul, Middlebury Food Pantry and Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries.
