Meet Holy Cross

Attending an admissions event that includes a campus tour and presentation can be a great way to get a feel for Holy Cross High School During a campus tour, you’ll have the opportunity to see firsthand what the campus looks like. Additionally, the presentation portion of the event will likely provide you with valuable information about the school’s programs and offerings, as well as the admissions process itself. Overall, attending this event can be a valuable experience.

Placement Exam

Placement exams are held each fall for incoming freshmen candidates. There is a $25.00 exam fee which is paid online when registering for the exam. Transfer students and incoming freshmen who apply after Placement Exams are held are required to pay a $25.00 application fee which can be mailed to Holy Cross High School, attn: Admissions Office.

Transcripts, Recommendation and Personal Statement

Incoming Freshmen

Please complete the Authorization to Release Records form and return it to Mrs. Parks to request that the applicant’s 6th-8th grade transcripts, attendance and discipline records. Once received, Holy Cross will contact the applicant’s school counselor to complete the recommendation form.

  • Upon receipt of the transcript release form, Mrs. Parks will contact the applicant’s school for a recommendation.

Transfer Students

Please complete the Authorization to Release Records form and return it to the applicant’s school to request that their transcripts, attendance and discipline records are mailed, emailed, or faxed (203.757.3423) to the Holy Cross Admissions Department.

Upon receipt of the transcript, Mrs. Parks will contact the applicant’s school for a recommendation.

Applicant must complete their personal statement using page 1 of the Transfer Applicant form. Please have the applicant’s school counselor complete page 2 of this form and have it emailed, or faxed (203.757.3423) to the Holy Cross Admissions Department to expedite the process.Only one letter of recommendation from a school counselor is required.

The deadline for Applications for Financial Aid for the 2023-2024 school year has passed. Financial Aid applications received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • December 1, 2023: Application for Admission and Financial Aid Applications Due for the Class of 2028
  • December 2023: Admissions Notifications for the Class of 2028
  • January 31, 2024: Admissions Reply Date for the Class of 2028
    (Admitted students asked to notify the Admissions Office of their enrollment decisions.) 
  • Transfer Admissions and financial aid are on a rolling basis.
